A. TELEPHONE The Network requires a dedicated telephone line to receive calls, with no answering or fax machine attached, and with no voice messaging or other custom features like call forwarding, because you could be disturbed while giving a reading to a caller who is paying for your time. Phone lines with features are not only NOT allowed but are the fasted way to get suspended. All too many times I have been called in the middle of the night from some one who is unaware of a feature on their phone. You may not be aware of the call waiting or voicemail but I promise you, the minute you try to log on the system will be aware. It is critical for all parties involved that you verify with your phone company BEFORE you attempt to log on that your phone line is feature free. There should be nothing on that phone besides a dial tone. Long distance is not even needed although it is not considered a conflict. If you consider a second line, keep in mind that not only is it easier but it is also a tax deduction. One that you will greatly appreciate at tax time. B. LOGGIN ON You MUST "LOG ON" to the system from your phone line that receives the calls for computer tracking, but you may log OFF from any phone line. The Network has troubles with "BUSIES" and "NO ANSWERS". If they try to put a call through to you and your line is busy (but is not supposed to be) then it is a "BUSY". If they try to put a call through and you don't answer the phone it is a "NO ANSWER". Only you can avoid a "NO ANSWER", but for a "BUSY" these sometimes do happen when you're trying to log off and to avoid this you can log off on another line if you want. Required Log On Days: All readers MUST log on and take calls the 1st 2nd and the 16th and 17th of each month. This is a corporate rule and no one is exempt from this rule at any time. Failure to log on for any reason will result in your pay being docked 5 cents per minute for the entire pay period. It is each readers responsibility to remember this rule, please mark your calendars. C. THE CALL NOTE: YOU MUST MAKE SURE THE CALLER IS AT LEAST 18 YEARS OLD. IF A UNDER AGE CALLER IS ON THE PHONE ASK TO SPEAK TO A RESPONSIBLE ADULT BEFORE YOU TAKING THE CALL. IF YOU DO NOT GET ADULT CONSENT YOU MUST TERMINATE THE CALL. On EVERY call you need to give the client your extension # and ask them to call you back at the 900# (above) for follow up readings. The Network receives about 30% repeat calls, which helps YOU to get more calls too ! Whisper Messages for Call Types: Each time your phone rings you will hear a "WHISPER MESSAGE" which will tell you the call type. There is a link to the left for the breakdown of the various prompts. Client Information capture: The log sheets have a space for full name, address, and date of birth. The Network wants a minimum of 65% of all calls to include full client information (Name, address, city, state, zip, E-MAIL if possible). Please obtain full information and PRINT LEGIBLEY. The Network uses the information to send their free Envision magazine, Tarot cards, and coupons for free minutes which also helps to generate more calls to your extension. D. SUSPENSIONS AND DISMISSALS You will be suspended or dismissed immediately for the following: 1. Do Not- Ever ask a caller or client for anything. You are being paid by the Network. 2. Do Not- Accept calls from anyone under 18. Hang up immediately. 3. Do Not- Contact any client after the call. Although you may use your mailing list as you see fit, you may not compete with the Network. Do not contact clients after any call. 4. NEVER EVER, arrange to meet a caller, this is for your safety. Please don't do this. 5. Do Not- Promise any Free Minutes or anything other than Free Promotional Material. 6. Do Not- Give any personal information on yourself such as Name and address or phone number. Please, for your own safety, don't do this. 7. Do Not- Ever give negative readings or advice and keep your readings free of formal legal or medical advice. Always refer the caller to the numbers listed in your List of Numbers. 8. Always give the 900 number and your extension at the beginning of each call. 9. If you are dismissed for reasons of Dishonesty or Fraud, it may be difficult for you to find another Network, so please work hard and be honest with yourself and the callers.
